Referral Policies

If you are a patient, you may call us directly (self-refer) or your doctor may send you to us for care. Either way, if you receive care in our office please understand that is our goal to work closely with your doctor. We take great care to forward all treatment information to your doctor, so that physician will have a complete file and understanding of your care in our office. We are, of course, available to your doctor for telephone follow-ups as well, and in some special cases where surgery may be needed, your doctor may even assist Dr. Longobardi in the surgery procedure. Your primary doctor, coordinating your care, assures that you get the medical attention you need and deserve.

If you are a referring physician, please feel free to call Dr. Longobardi at the office to discuss your patients special issues and needs or to send written information and records with your patient for their appointment in our office. We are here to support you and the care that you are providing for your patient. We will forward you a final report and copies of any procedure results or reports from your patient's care. If you will leave numbers where you can be reached, even after hours, we'll do our best to call you as soon as possible.
